Thoughts of a Thursday afternoon13 Feb 2020
Basically: Keeping in mind why we choose to do what we do. It can help us when we meet difficulties or get a feeling of doubt.
I would like to take this opportunity to tell you why I chose/choose to be a real estate broker.
This profession allows me to help people move from one stage to another, whether it be :
- the purchase of a first property,
- the purchase a lifetime home,
- the condo sale of a deceased,
- the purchase of a real estate investment,
- the result of a separation, a relocation, the arrival of a newborn...
Yes, I offer full support, legal protections, expertise in the real estate market, but the best part of my job, I find, is to reassure the concerns of my clients, answer their questions, educate them on their rights, refer them to competent professionals when necessary, create and strengthen a bond of trust, advice them on the best decisions to take, defend their interests, negotiate the best conditions of their sale/purchase, and then, celebrate with them the success of a completed project.
Why do you do what you do? Whether professionally or in a personal or in social matter.
